Ellie has been attending Seimpi School of Music’s class for a number of weeks now and she is enjoying them. If you read my previous review, you would know that there were only a few students in her class.
Seimpi School of Music: Review
Right now though, they have changed their classroom to one with a much larger area as the class has expanded! There were about 7-9 toddlers in all. It was lovely seeing other little ones shake and sing to the music with enthusiasm. Ellie loves to people-watch and interact, so she had fun making new friends too.
She is now more willing to listen to the teacher’s instructions, especially if the reward is a toy! I guess she has learned what to expect in a class like this. She was very responsive to stories told in a sing-song style too. The teacher was so expressive and engaging; I would love it too!
I appreciated how structured the lesson was, and how the teacher would repeat specific teaching points, eg. the colors “red” & “blue”. She would sing a little song using these words, show them shakers in those specific colors, and then got each of them to repeat “red” & “blue” after her. It was so gratifying when we heard them say it out loud! Everyone would clap and cheer for the kids, and you see how their tiny faces beam with pride after that. 😉
Ellie was the happiest when she received a sticker at the end of each lesson. And she has been saying, “Ti-ti-ta!” (they were taught music beats) whenever she catches a glimpse of photos of her music class on my phone, which is just adorable. 🙂
Disclosure: Seimpi School of Music has very generously sponsored Ellie’s music classes for 3 months in exchange for honest reviews. All of the opinions are mine, and I only share what I believe to be beneficial for my readers. Look out for another review post of this class as Ellie continues attending!
