Enrollment for “My Homemaking Mentor” is now open! It’ll close on Nov 7 and will not reopen till Spring 2018, so do check it out soon! 🙂
So you must have heard a lot about “My Homemaking Mentor” this week – from me, and possibly from other bloggers. I’m a firm believer in lifelong learning and I love investing in courses that I know I’ll benefit tremendously from.

My Homemaking Mentor
BUT – there are also definitely instances when this course, “My Homemaking Mentor” may not be suitable for you. I decided to list them here so that you can make your own sound decision. 🙂
What this Course is about:
You can see this Academy as your ultimate library of resources for various aspects of Homemaking. For a one-time fee of US$129, you get lifetime access to these courses and ALL future courses that they will update year after year. There are 16 full courses now, and they will be adding more courses in 2018, and signing up now means you get FREE access to them once they’re out!
Also, courses for these are in the works: freezer cooking (yay!) + balancing homeschooling and housekeeping + more on cooking…all of which I’m so excited about!
And hey, they have a payment plan option of 6 & 12 months payment plans too!
I sincerely think that this Academy is a fantastic offer, and if you break it down – (without including new courses), each course will only cost you about US$8!
“My Homemaking Mentor” Academy’s courses include these & more:
Basics of Homemaking
Learning to Live Intentionally
The Art of Being a Wife Who Cultivates a Fulfilling Marriage
Cleaning Routines to Keep Order in Your Home
Modesty, Grace and a Minimal Wardrobe
My favorites include the ones on marriage, social media, and meal-planning. 🙂
Is this Right for You?
But these are the instances in which I think this course may not be right for you (at least, not in this season of your life):
- If you are already barely making ends meet, please stash this money for your groceries and daily supplies instead. This is not a small amount, and I would not recommend it to anyone who is not able to afford it. Instead, I’ll suggest that you check out this FREE course: Finding Joy in Your Home (I loved it!)
- If you are not a fan of learning via videos, this is not for you. This is a video-based mentoring course, and though there are other forms of support (eg. the private Facebook group), if you do not enjoy watching videos…sorry, just skip this post. 🙂
- If you are in a season of surviving day by day – like the newborn season in which I barely had time to shower, much less read or go online for any length of time – then this will not be the right time for you to enroll. I’d rather you wait for the Academy to open again, and have the capacity to savor the rich wisdom in these courses. If you’d like a good book to read in this season, I highly recommend “Say Goodbye to Survival Mode” by Crystal Paine. Love, love, love her practical tips! My previous post on “How To Create a Happy Homemaking Routine” will help too.
Anyway, the bottom line is that though this is a truly amazing home-transforming course that I benefited from, if it is not the right season for you to enroll in it, don’t fret.
There are other good deals and resources around, and I’ll be sure to let you all know about it too. (p/s: subscribe to my blog so you don’t miss a thing!)
But if you have thought this through and are excited to enroll in “My Homemaking Mentor“, please do so soon!
Hope this post has helped! Happy Homemaking, everyone. 🙂
