The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him.
Bren was offered a job at a very reputable company in November 2014. He was not actively looking to change his job, yet this was easily provided for. We took it as divine provision and that God knew what we would need in this new season of our conceiving journey.
Remember how I shared on Bren not understanding my conviction to quit my job, and how alone I felt in my decision? Well, he was fully convicted after he saw how God arranged everything divinely for him to get this new job – which would give him a higher pay, yet with a much lighter workload and better working hours! Plus, it is very near our place so he spends much lesser time traveling! This job also meant that we did not need to worry about finances even after I left my job. 🙂 Big relief for the two of us, especially Bren.
When I told my boss about the happy news, her reply matched my sentiments exactly – she said, “Wow..what a beautiful rainbow after all the storms. Our God is so good..rejoice with you all and yes, open your hands and there is more.”
Sometimes we ask God why are our circumstances the way they are? We can ask, but we also need to trust. His plan is to test and refine us, and yes – at times it is through fiery situations that are hard. But once we have gone through that refining process, we emerge from it stronger in our faith and see His Hand and Heart with more intimacy.
For me, God cleared the gloomy clouds in His time and His Light shone into my dark world so brightly, sweet love was immensely felt. 🙂
