Ever since E dropped to only taking 2 naps a day, life has been a little easier and we get a bit more time to go out and do fun stuff during the day. On most days, I bring her out twice a day – first outing to somewhere further, and the second outing usually just to run errands or get groceries from the nearby mall so that we still have ample time for a relaxing bedtime routine.
So here’s how it is these days…
10 months old Daily Routine
730am Wake for breakfast + milk. Husband manages her while I exercise a bit. We read devotionals to her while she’s seated in her high chair so that it’s more manageable, else she’ll tend to clamour all over the books. After that, it’s playtime, snacks and bath time.
10am First nap. I get most housework done during this time and prepare for our outing. 🙂
12nn Lunch + milk. I usually have lunch with her, and then we proceed to go out!
230pm Second nap. I rest a bit, start preparation for dinner, and read my emails.
4pm Tea + milk. Story time in her Nunaleaf after that, then we go for our last outing for the day.
6pm Dinner in the kitchen – I move her highchair to be in the kitchen, so I can watch her while doing the dishes and finish dinner prep.
645pm Bedtime routine for E + last milk feed.
730pm E is usually asleep by this time.
8pm We have our dinner, and catch up on each other’s day. If it’s the weekend and we have sufficient energy, we discuss important matters. Else, I just do my nightly pump (I’m down to only 1 pump!) and watch a bit of tv together and unwind…
Happy 10 months, darling! We love you so, so much. 🙂
