It makes me think of my family, and families in general. How we often take these people for granted, even though they may be the ones who care for you the most. How we often forget to appreciate, or even acknowledge one another, especially in the midst of our busy lifestyles.
I believe family is a gift. One that you don’t get to choose, but God chooses to place you divinely in. It may be easy and lots of fun on some days, and it may also be full of friction and tough lessons on many other days. One thing is for sure though – a family can choose to stick together, through thick and thin, and journey through life knowing that they’ve got one another’s backs.
…letting go of past hurts and choosing to reconcile. Making time to have gatherings to catch up and build our lives together, one coffee cup at a time.
…enjoying a rainy Sunday afternoon with cafe chatter and friendly aunties who adore your baby.
Family is = no matter what.
Whatever the differences, whatever the grievance, whatever the issue – no matter what, family is family, and we choose to stand by one other, in grace and love. ✌🏻️
